Founded in 1997 by Reiji Fukuda, Chepro is headquartered in Tokyo, JAPAN. After involving with a made in Japan OS (TORON) project as an engineer, Reiji Fukuda built up his consultant career. Then he set up an ISV named Chepro, which comes from “producing wisdom”.

Chepro develops software core technology, tools and applications including ERP. Visual WAO took wrap off in 2007 with WAO architecture, a next generation of web architecture, and received Microsoft INNOVATION AWARD 2007. The Viusal WAO first product was released in 2008, which is a web based ERP for construction industry. Using Visual WAO, the ERP fulfilled a new class of complex, high speed responded, web based application that can not easily be implemented by Ajax or other rich client technologies. In 2014, the Viusal WAO Development Tool was released in order to fully utilized the technology in software industry.

Beside Microsoft INNOVATION AWARD 2007, Chepro wins awards constantly. In 2007, a major venture capital company, Daiwa Corporate Investment, took a 99 million yen stake in Chepro.
